Summary of Current Role / areas of expertise

Helen is a Higher Rights Advocate and deals with all aspects of criminal law including motoring offences. Helen leads Kirwans’ Criminal Defence Team and is responsible for the management of the department. Helen represents clients from the earliest stages of Police investigations through to trial and sentencing.

Her areas of expertise include trial advocacy, complex legal arguments and providing clear, strategic advice throughout every stage of a criminal case.
