Summary of Current Role / areas of expertise
As Managing Partner, Claire is Head of the Family Department and is responsible for overseeing the management and strategic direction of the department and firm. Claire is also Head of the Private Client department, dealing with a variety of matters including Wills, Powers of Attorney and Trusts.
Claire deals with a variety of Private Client matters including Wills, Powers of Attorney and Trusts. In addition Claire assists executors in the administration of estates when someone has passed away. Claire deals with Court of Protection applications for people applying to become deputy to deal with family member’s affairs and other more complicated Court of Protection applications.
Claire also manages the development of relationships with existing clients and organisations, as well as developing new opportunities, to ensure that the department continues to deliver a high level of services to all clients.
Claire is a registered member of the National Association of Lifetime Lawyers formerly known as Solicitors for the Elderly.

Career History
Prior to joining Kirwans Claire worked as a product specialist for Perceptive Scientific International before moving into Sales and Marketing for Applied Biosystems and then for Adelphi. Claire completed a training contract at Kirwans in 2008 to qualify as a solicitor.
